The foundation provides a free service of live verification of the works archived and published in the artist’s catalogs raisonnés. The outcome of the check, conducted by ascertaining the correspondence between the work on view and the documentation—photographic and historical—in the archives, is verbally communicated to the owner.
Collectors who wish to apply for this service should send by email photographs and details of the work, including archive and/or catalog number, and will then be contacted to arrange an appointment.
Collectors may also apply to update the ownership of works in their possession by sending a self-declaration of ownership, along with photos of the work and a copy of an identity document. The foundation proceeds to register the declaration and notifies the owner of the new corresponding archive number.
